Best practices for conducting a pilot test
Implementing a new system in your operation is always a challenge. We recommend starting small, making the necessary adjustments, and then applying changes to the team.
We recommend starting with a pilot test with two users. Having two users creates a sense of competition and gives you two different opinions and experiences.
Our advice is:
- Choose your two best users.
- Choose your youngest users who are most familiar with using new technology.
- Run the pilot test for two weeks, so you have enough information to analyze.
- Create a group chat with those two users to stay in constant communication with them.
- Check your daily summary every day to ensure your users are actually using the app.
We recommend starting small, then implementing more processes as the days pass. A possible schedule can be:
- Day 1: Install Handy and log in.
- Days 2-5: Register clients and log visits.
- Days 6-10: Now that they're familiar with the app, try using other features like creating orders, completing forms, or creating inventory.
You can always send us a message in the chat if you have any questions!
