Block editing and relocation permissions of clients for delivery users
Handy allows you to block editing and relocating clients' permissions for delivery users, giving you, as an administrator, more control over these movements.
What does this setting do?
This setting stops Delivery users from:
- Editing client information (name, phone number, etc.)
- Change the client's location on the map
This feature is useful if you want your delivery users to be able to view clients without allowing them to modify their information or accidentally move them.
Where is it activated?
- Log in to your account on the web portal
- Go to Settings, then select Clients
- Click on Block editing and relocation permissions of clients for delivery users
Important:
This lock indirectly depends on two other settings:
- ✅ Edit clients
- ✅ Update client location
If both of these settings are disabled, none of your users will be able to edit or move clients, regardless of which type of user they are.
If both of these settings are enabled, with the Block editing and relocation permissions of clients for delivery users lock, you'll be able to restrict these actions from delivery users, but keep them available for other user types.
