Creating payments from your mobile device

There are two ways to create payments in Handy: either through the app as a mobile user or on the web portal. Here, we'll show you how to create payments using the app.



Creating a payment from a mobile device using the Handy app is very simple.


On the client's details, you'll find the option for Payment. After clicking it, you'll see the client's outstanding balance at that time. The next step would be to select the payment method and record how much the client is being charged.


Following these steps would look like this:




Note: If the amount being charged is less than the client's balance, Handy makes a simple subtraction (set up by the administrator); this way, the next time you see the client's balance, it will be updated to the right amount.


For example:

The client has an opening balance of $1,000, and you register a payment of $700. The next time you look at that client, their balance will have been updated to the remaining $300.


This process applies both to post-delivery collections and to orders.
