Device permissions for Handy

To log in to the Handy app, your phone will ask you to enable some permissions so allow Handy to run smoothly. These permissions are:

1.- Permission to ignore battery optimization - this allows us to get precise information about the user's routes and gives you access to real-time information and location updates.

2.- Permission to get the device's IMEI: Handy links to the devices through their IMEI and their Google token, which we can obtain by enabling this permission.

If any of these permissions aren't enabled, you won't be able to log in. The app will insist on enabling the permissions to allow logging in.

Problems with these permissions

If, when logging in, a message appears saying ‘We cannot request the permission,’ this means the user has disabled the feature that allows the device to display the permissions screen within the app. In this case, go to Settings, find the Handy app, and enable all permissions.
