Edit product prices per client

This feature acknowledges that each client is unique and has their own specific needs. In some cases, if a client is buying more of a certain product, you have the option to offer them a special price on that product.


To use this feature, go to Settings:



In the Orders tab, you'll find two options you can select:



1.- You can edit product price per customer only once


If this option is selected, the mobile user will only be able to modify the price per customer once. If more changes were necessary, the company administrator would need to make the changes in the web portal.


2.- You can edit product price per customer multiple times


If this option is selected, the mobile user will be able to modify the price per customer multiple times.


NOTE: Make sure that only one option is selected. If both are selected, Handy will consider option one, where prices will only be edited once.


Minimum price


On each product's details, you can establish a minimum price. This way, salespeople won't be able to grant clients a price that's lower than the one you've established:




When loading products in bulk using an Excel template, there's a column that will also allow you to set a minimum price.


The preset value for the minimum price is set to 0, so if you don't edit this value, salespeople won't have a limit for how low they can set the new price per client.



Mobile app


In the mobile app, when adding a product to a new order, you can click on the edit icon to edit its price:




Once you've clicked the edit icon, you'll see a dropbox where you can either set the new price directly or apply a percentage discount on the original price.




If a salesperson wants to set a new price lower than the established minimum price, the Handy app will not allow it:
