Limit products available for price lists

Some companies prefer to separate their clients in a way that not all of them are able to access the company's full product catalog. If your company works this way, there's a setting you can enable to control which products your salespeople can offer to your clients. To enable it, go to Settings, then click on the Orders tab, and enable the setting:




In order to use this setting, you must have at least one price list created. If you're not familiar with price lists yet, we recommend that you read this article first: How do price lists work?


If the setting is enabled, when creating an order for a client with an assigned price list, the salesperson will only be able to see the products included in the price list. The app will show them a message specifying that they're only seeing certain products.




What if the client doesn't have an assigned price list?

The salesperson will see the entire product catalog when creating the client's order.



What if the client doesn't have an assigned price list, but I choose one when creating the order?

The salesperson will be able to sell from the full catalog, respecting the price list prices.
