Placing orders in the web portal

In this article, you'll see a step-by-step guide on how to place a client's order on the web portal.

There are two ways to place orders in Handy. Through the App or on the Web portal. This article will focus on placing orders through the web portal.

Web

The web portal's order-placing tool is as powerful and has the same options as the mobile app.

Go to the main menu and select Orders

Here, you'll find the option + Create

After clicking here, you'll be able to place an order:

There are four main concepts in this screen:

  • Client: Here, you'll select which client the order is for. You can search by code or description.
  • Products: Here, you can add the products you want for the order.
  • Date of delivery request: This field allows you to select the date on which the order will be delivered.
  • Comments: This is an optional field where you can add any comments on the order.

Promotions

Another important feature is the See promotions button. By clicking it, you can see any promotions you have available.

When adding products that activate a promotion, the rewards will be automatically added to the cart with their corresponding discount. These products will be clearly labeled as rewards from a promotion.

In the promotion's details, you can specify if the promotion is available for web orders or not:

Price lists

When selecting a client, if they have a previously assigned special price list, it will be automatically applied. If the selected client doesn't have a special price list, you'll see an option that will allow you to select a price list:

Discounts

Discounts can be used according to their own parameters. You can see more details on discounts here.

Additional settings

You can find more Settings in the Orders tab that will be applied to web orders, such as:

  • Web orders reduce the company's inventory.
  • Web orders increase the client's balance.
  • Fractions can be used in product quantities.
  • Notice: When exceeding a customer’s credit limit in presale.
  • Notice: When entering an order, send a copy of the order to the salesperson by email.
  • Allow orders to be registered without an available inventory limit.
  • Clients: Convert prospects into clients when they place their first order.
