Why isn't the Handy app available for iOS?

Handy was available for iOS from 2016 until November 2018.

However, we decided to remove it because of the following reasons:

External reasons:

• Android's technical potential is significantly superior, partly due to the restrictions iOS imposes on apps.
• The segment of the labor market that depends on Android devices has been growing over the years, especially in countries where the Handy app is widely used.

Internal reasons:

• Having only one mobile app allows us to focus more on it, provide better service, and release new and better features more frequently.
• Less than 5% of Handy’s mobile users used iOS devices. Having two separate apps took a lot of time and resources, while the iOS user base was too small.

Although we’re not ruling out bringing it back in the future, if market conditions remain the same as those that led us to make this decision, it’s unlikely that this will change.
